How we started

Founded in 2016, Global Shipping Express started with two small outdated vans and one big ambition to succeed.
Customers are won and retained through consistently high levels of professional service and value for money. With annual growth, we now employ over 100 staff and have a turnover of over $10 million. The original directors/shareholders still play an active role in the day-to-day operations of the company. Our Chairman Nick Cusworth, M.D. Daniel Franey and G.M. Aaron Cullumbine are based at our head office in California, while Ian Crossley is based in our Bradford office.

Like most companies, we have had to earn the trust of our customers. Some use us daily, some weekly and some just occasionally, but each is just as important to us.

Our vision for the future is to continue to grow our customer base while maintaining a personalized service and meeting our “on time, every time” commitment to collection and delivery.

We have a new dedicated storage facility that brings our total storage space to just over 65,000 square feet. ft., which can comfortably house 6,500 pallets and is barcode driven.

We can offer express deliveries in Europe and beyond.

Our ‘get it there quick’ service where it all started at Courier Logistics remains the core of our company. We work with full tracking and electronic task assignment, as well as instant PODs.

Our people and the environment

We believe that providing a truly customer-centric operation requires total employee involvement. We operate an open door policy to encourage employees to bring new ideas to the directors and management team to share. At Courier Logistics we pride ourselves on our ability to provide support and guidance to our staff and work as a whole team.

As a company, we also encourage and fund employee training to promote employee progression, which in turn drives efficiency, staff fulfillment and ultimately increases customer service.

As part of our commitment to our employees and the environment, we are currently working towards ISO 14001. This accreditation guides and regulates our impact on the environment and helps us to reduce our impact where possible.
